Workplace Training

Citywide Outreach Ministries' workplace training program consists of two main areas of focus:

1. Workplace Literacy:
   Some students are enrolled in concurrent workplace and literacy programs. They learn basic skills needed to succeed in specific career areas. In addition, they learn soft skills and technical training needed for success at work.
2. Computer Literacy:
   Computer labs are operational on site. Students are enrolled in programs for basic computer skills, computer-assisted instruction, and word processing.

In 2006, 100% of the students with the documented goal of obtaining and maintaining employment for a minimum of one year did so.
