About Citywide Outreach Ministries
Citywide Outreach Ministries is a non-profit community technology center serving a low-income and under served community in Northwest Houston since 1990.
The program is completely funded by the House of God, so participants can benefit from the training provided without having to worry about how to pay for the courses. Citywide Outreach Ministries also works with the READ Commission, the Mayor’s Coalition for Literacy, and Technology For All to spread education and learning to the community. Our students come from all different backgrounds and from all parts of Houston.
Courses are taught by volunteer teachers. Teachers are trained by Citywide Outreached Ministries and also receive additional training from HCC and the READ Commission.
