Our Mission Statement

The mission of Citywide Outreach Ministries is to enrich the lives of youths and young adult Houstonians and their families by helping them achieve their full potential through literacy, and to contribute to a workforce that will ensure a strong economy and a promising future for the Greater Houston area.

Citywide Outreach Programs:

Citywide Outreach Ministries is a neighbor-friendly facility, responsive to community needs by providing educational services and empowering people for their advancement in society.

Citywide Outreach Ministries provides General Education Development (GED) classes, English as a Second Language (ESL) classes, and Adult Basic Education (ABE) classes. We also provide computer classes for youths and adults, as well as public access to computers and the internet for residents in the northwest community of Houston, Texas.

The Learning Center collectively provides literacy training to 100 adult learners per year.
